The admission for a bachelor program in the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, in 2016 is based on the general mark from Baccalaureat and a motivational essay graded with accepted/rejected. It is indicated to follow the essay structure posted on the website in Annex I from the Admission Methodology for admission at bachelor programs. The essay should be signed and it should have a date (Annex I). In the case of faculties in foreign languages, candidates have to pass an exam that tests their foreign language proficiency, which is graded with accepted/rejected. Based on this exam, candidates will be selected for the following steps in the admission process. In order to be accepted for this exam, a candidate should obtain at least 50 points out of 100 possible points. Candidates who pass this exam are ranked based on their general mark from Baccalaureat. Students from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year of bachelor degree, with frequent attendance, from Romania or other Member States of EU, or from European Economic Space and Switzerland Confederation, who passed the admission exam, have to pay 3500 RON/year. This amount can be paid in two installments, at the beginning of each semester, through bank transfer or at the cash desks of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
