Doctoral university studies constitute the 3rd cycle of university studies, centered on research-based learning and the purpose of which is the development of scientific and/or applied research skills. The doctoral study programmes in Business Administration offered by the Doctoral School of Business Administration II are of two types: scientific doctorate and professional doctorate.
The ultimate goal of the doctoral study programme is to elaborate the doctoral thesis and to develop the professional and transversal skills included in the National Register of Higher Education Qualifications at the doctoral study level.
The doctoral study programmes in Business Administration offered by the Doctoral School of Business Administration II extend on four academic years. This involves the participation of the doctoral student in an advanced training programme, participation in one or more scientific projects established by the doctoral supervisor, participation in scientific seminars and international conferences, dissemination of the research results through high-quality publications, participation in Erasmus+ mobilities etc. The doctoral study programme is carried out under the guidance of the doctoral supervisor and of the guidance and academic integrity committee. It can be carried out within the Doctoral School of Business Administration II, in the FABIZ research centre IDEAS or other research entities of the University and its partners.
